In light of the horrific events of Easter Sunday and the subsequent foreign office advisories (all of which have now been lifted), we are extending our low season pricing all the way through the summer months. Tourism is vital to the economy of Sri Lanka and the impact of the atrocities, which were limited almost wholly to the capital, has been heartwrenching. Our little piece of paradise, 6km west of Tangalle, is a peaceful and utterly unspoilt retreat for nourishing the soul and replenishing the body. 

Swim in our glorious infinity pool, stroll along 3km of deserted beaches and relax in The Teak House, surrounded by nature and the kindness of our extraordinary team of loyal staff. Roshan's curries are a wonder.

The Southern Expressway is now open to within 15 minutes of The Teak House
After a wait of 17 years, we are delighted to let you know that the final section of the Southern Expressway was vested a week ago! It will now take between 2 and 2 and a half hours to travel the 234km from Colombo Airport to The Teak House. It is expressway all the way but the last 15 minutes.
